Area 6 Scholarships (one per state)
Area 6 offers FIVE scholarships to its Ringing Events (one per state) which cover the cost of registration. This includes all massed and divisional ringing, classes, special events, meals, and swag. It does not include lodging, travel, or required music for massed ringing.
In order to receive a scholarship, the participant must be a first time festival attendee and must attend the entire event. Any director or ringer who resides in Area 6 and is a participating member of a registered Handbell Musicians of America handbell or handchime choir of any age is eligible to apply.
Applicants will be notified of the results within two weeks of the deadline.

Deadline for scholarship application is February 1, 2025.
National Seminar Scholarship
Would you like to participate in National Seminar, but funds are tight? Area 6 offers one scholarship to National Seminar each year. This scholarship, which covers one registration, is available to anyone who is:
- A director of an active handbell or handchime choir
- A member in good standing of Handbell Musicians of America
- A first-time attendee to National Seminar
The scholarship may not be applied toward travel or lodging expenses.

The deadline each year is March 15. Results will be shared within two-three weeks of the deadline.
