HANDBELL EVENTS in the AREA

If you have a handbell event in Area 6 and you’d like to take advantage of Area 6 & Handbell Musicians of America endorsement – please read below and fill out an Endorsement Form. YOUR EVENT can be listed here (and on social media, and on the National HMA webpages, and on all the calendars, and…)

Endorsed Events are subject to Endorsement Fees. These fees are paid to the respective Area in which the Event occurs. Endorsement Fees are calculated as follows:

  • 1-99 paid registrants – $0.75 per registrant per day
  • 100-499 paid registrants – $1.00 per registrant per day
  • 500+ paid registrants – $1.50 per registrant per day

Performance/Livestream Licensing: Event organizers are responsible to contact the publisher of each piece being performed or livestreamed to secure the appropriate licenses or permissions to perform. The cost for the mechanical licenses varies from publisher to publisher, but generally fees range from $0 – $70. Licenses to perform are an important step in providing royalties to composers.
