The Raleigh Ringers will be the featured performers on Opening Night of the festival.  Dave Harris will conduct massed ringing, and members of the Raleigh Ringers will teach classes on many aspects of ringing and performing.

The event will be held at the luxurious Comfort Inn Suites and Conference Center in Metairie, Louisiana.  Just minutes from the French Quarter, the Copeland provides a convenient environment for both your hotel stay and festival events with reasonable room rates and many amenities.

To receive the convention rate, reservations must be made by May 11, 2019.

HOTEL CANCELLATION POLICY: 72 hours prior to date of arrival. If you would like to arrive before the festival or stay after the festival, the hotel will honor the convention rates for three (3) days prior and post June 13-15, 2019.

Call the hotel directly to make reservations at 504-888-9500. You must mention our Group Code which is “Area 6 Handbell Festival”. Parking is complimentary. Lodging is separate from your festival registration fee.

The small print:
Check in is after 3pm and check out is 11am.
No cash will be accepted at check in.
Room rates are subject to local sales, occupancy, and tourism taxes.
There will be a $50 authorization for incidentals at the time of check in.
Individuals will be required to provide a valid debit or credit card at the time of booking in order to guarantee reservation.

Registration for Bells in the Big Easy is:

$250 if postmarked by May 1, 2019
$275 if postmarked after that.

The fee includes:
* Ringing under the direction of David Harris of the Raleigh Ringers
* Classes taught by members of the Raleigh Ringers
* Handbell Industry Council vendors
* Meals: Friday lunch and dinner, Saturday lunch. (Breakfasts are included for guests at the convention hotel.)
* One ticket to the Raleigh Ringers concert, Thursday, June 13, 2019, 7:30 at the University of New Orleans.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations must be requested IN WRITING.
If RECEIVED by April 15: you may receive a 50% refund, less a cancellation fee of $25.00
AFTER APRIL 15, registration is NON-REFUNDABLE.
